Highly recommend the director's commentary for Starship Troopers. Verhoeven not only obsessively points out what is and isn't digital effects as it comes on screen, he also at one point screams as loud as he can when explaining how he got the actors to react to the "bugs" when they were filming (i.e. pretending he was a monster off camera). BE WARNED: the sound levels for this part of the commentary are not balanced(?). Keep your hand on the volume control.
