    I think it's more plausible that Valve just got focused on more lucrative endeavors (TF2 and CS:GO crates and items) than being "scared" by the creative challenge of creating the finale for Half-Life. Admittedly the expectations were overwhelming, and still are. But they'd already made a great follow-up to the original Half-Life with it's sequel, so they already had courage about facing fan anticipation and expectations.

    Chris Davis, I like your enthusiasm for the Half-Life, but I think you're being a little too generous when you offer the image of Valve's developers sweating themselves into a shamed silence due to the hype surrounding Half-Life 3.

    Last week someone Asked about favorite in game monologs. My favorite to this day has to be the graveminds Monolog from the 2nd to last mission of Halo 3.

    It would be a big blow if E3 really does fade away, then the cringe compilation videos would also be gone. Also is Nick the only one on letterboxed?
