It's almost Halloween and we're running on a SKELETON crew this week! It may be a 3Player Podcast but Nick, Brad, and Krispy hold down the fort with a bunch of impressions from the games we recently played for our 12-hour Halloween Spook-tacular including Visage, The Conjuring House, Paranormal Activity, and more! Keep your eyes on The Persistance as well as it seems like a PSVR game that more people should be paying attention too. With that said, The Return of the Obra Dinn just might steal the spotlight as it could be one of the biggest surprises of 2018!

This Week's Discussion Topics:

KNC-ceto (spelling?) seems like a cool guy.

Just got the credits in Valkyria Chronicles 4. Took about 35 hours (including most squad stories and all skirmishes). The post-game content that it adds is surprisingly good, I'm actually going to keep playing. Loved the story- I know Raz gets off to a bad start, but he ended up likeable for me.

I don't know if the sales of the game were great, but even if they weren't and the series is dead- I'm glad that we got this game. Another full-scale console Valkyria game that I loved playing.

It was an honor to be the first Supporter Spotlight. Hoped my responses were enjoyable and sorry my 4 player minute delayed the Red Dead stream by a little. I look forward to future spotlight responses!

Also, I have just finished The Return of the Obra Dinn with all solved fates in 7 hours and that game is amazing. Figuring out some of the things was kinda frustrating (I misidentified some people), but I never found it overwhelming, but more addicting like it was mentioned on the podcast. It's really cool that there are very small hints that help you identify people that you might not catch the first couple times you look at a scene like personal belongings and clothes. Like Portal 2, I really want to watch others play this game.

In regards to my Symphony of the Night run, it was "technically" done in one sitting. Fortunately enough had two days off of both my jobs in which I locked myself in my apartment with all the food and beer I needed, and just delved into some games including Dino Crisis, Xenogears, Watch Dogs 2, etc; but none of them hooked me like SOTN. I had to look up a guide through the second castle because I felt going through it all again would have spoiled my experience because I was at such an intense "gaming high." I fought the final boss severely underleveled but, after 15 or so tries, I kicked his ass. I haven't felt such satisfaction since I beat Ninja Gaiden on the NES about a decade ago.
