A sequel to War for Cybertron, huh? Sounds like it could be cool... Closure looks pretty much identical to a flash game I played a few years back.

A lot of friends of mine got pretty into the Tribes Ascend beta and have been trying to get me to play it. Maybe I'll try it out when the full version is released. I'm a bit scared, because I only quit playing TF2 a few years ago, and that game has taken hundreds of hours of my life. God forbid I like this game as much as I did TF2.

I've heard of the original tribe game(s? idk) before, but never actually played it, I love similar shooters like Unreal tournament though, so maybe I can get into this.

Tribes Ascend is a fantastic FPS. It is a very quick paced game, and its kind of hard to get into I think, but I would highly recommend it. The Ski-function of the game is really fun, and when you start to learn how to jetpack a small amount just to land in a downward slope to gain more speed, it feels so good. And as Brad said, its free with a pay-if-you-want-to option, so there is really no reason to at least try it out. It might be something for you!

Opinions are like nipples. Everyone has one. :P Closure looks very interesting, reminds me of Vessel for some reason but I'd hope it comes out on Steam as well. I remember looking at a preview for Tribes: Ascend in the past and although I'm not big on multiplayer games now, it looks very fast-paced and well-done for an F2P game.

The new Tribes Ascend does feel like classic Tribes. Very fun and it's good to see Metaltech (Earthseige, Starseige, Starseige: Tribes) and BattleTech (Mechwarrior) still around if only in free to play form. If these games do well maybe we will see a more.
