    Hey guys.

This is my favorite time of the year, not because of all the triple A releases.
Because two days ago, it finally happend, Chris Davis sent out the Top 10 Games of 2017 email.

How do you guys usually react when that email shows up in your inbox?

PS. I would also like to wish our homie, Pokop, a late happy birthday

Companies like EA need to always be spending a lot of money to make money, this is why they're interested in making large investments that can give massive returns. If they were to spread that money across say ten times as many projects with a tenth of the budget each, their earning potential would probably go down. You see the exact same thing with movies of course, and while studios will take a few bets on medium budget movies they wouldn't be able to sustain themselves on them.

Also, to chime in on AAA single-player games dying, I'll be the cynic and say that the majority of them sort of lost me already with design-by-committee decisions. The few studios with integrity in their design (like id, CDProject etc.) will continue to fly that flag.

Black flag was mentioned at the end, and all people ever remember from that game is the ship aspect. Which paints an inaccurate picture when you are stuck playing one of the countless annoying tailing missions that the game presents you with. Which was one of the main things i took away from my experience when i played trough it recently.

Lemme help out Chris here, he’s a good kid but sometimes he can’t sell a product. The anime he was talking about is a good but dark show about what would realistically happen if you ask teenaged girls like Sailor Moon to risk their lives and take the burden of saving lives on their back.

No I can’t vouch for the style though, it’s the kind of show that you’re better off watching in your room with a box of twinkies then slowly figuring out if the person you’re talking to likes anime before you bring it up.

Hearing the talk about the DLC to the Breath of the Wild it seems like that DLC nailed it with making an enticing and challenging new offering that will bring people back to the game. I commend Nintendo for not just tacking on some bullshit to make a few quick bucks. I would also like to shoutout Respawn Entertainment for making DLC for Titanfall 2 free, players should be rewarded for purchasing a developer's game and Im happy to see Respawn giving back to the community as a whole.

Just wanted to say that this has been one of the best podcast episodes I've seen in a bit. Just wanted to make a little comment on what Reborn said. The DSM-5 is the official manual for mental disorders. It is the one and only go-to guide for explaining mental disorders, as well as how to help / cure said mental disorders. There ya go! Have a good one!

In response to Nolan saying that Little Caesar's is terrible, while I'm not saying that Little Caesar's is GREAT, it's one of those situations where you get what you paid for. I mean $10 for a pizza is a steal in my book. I haven't had Cici's since I don't live in Texas so I can't critique them, in fact the closest location from where I live is a 2 hour drive to Cincinnati.

However, Little Caesar's Deep Dish Pizzas are actually pretty damn good, especially the bacon wrapped one! *drools heavily*

Your alt timeline conversation got me thinking so here are a few alt timelines that wouldn't necessarily just become FPSs.

Timeline where Europe never colonized the Americas or the rest of the world.
    Timeline where slavery never happened.
Timeline where the Bolsheviks never took power.
Timeline where 9/11 never happened or was prevented.
Timeline where former Mexican states remained part of Mexico.
Timeline where US never recovered from the Great Depression but others did.
Timeline where everyone who sat stod & everyone who stood sat to wipe.
