We are back from E3 and ready to play some games! This week is our last podcast in our current recording space so we crack open a few beers to celebrate! The beyond good and evil 2 as a sequel discussion/argument was interesting. How it does not directly build on the original in terms of story or structure made me think of prey (2017) . Which has an even more tenuous connection to the franchise it was attached to.

I am new to this podcast, i started with the E3 episodes and though i liked them very much you have definitely won me over with this episode! I absolutely loved the discussion you had about Beyond Good and Evil 2 and i love how you all have very different likes and preferences. I am very much looking forward to future episodes and in the meantime i will listen to some old ones!

I think the ransom theory on Beyond Good and Evil 2 is spot on. It's like "hey, make all this dogshit and sell lots of copies and MAYBE you can do THIS project you want."
Sadly, I think that's just the way it goes with franchises under large publishers. You play by their rules and their stakeholder's interests. BGE2 deserves to be independent, really.
