Another week, another big release. Prey just hit but Krispy got just enough hands-on time with the full game to give some early impressions. Brad and Nick share their thoughts on Little Nightmares, another charming and atmospheric "Limbo-like" that is very much worth your attention. We also delve into our thoughts following our first FULL D&D session featuring the Curse of Strahd campaign. Oh my sweet baby Jesus it wasn't a mistake, ugh. But come on, Cottage Cheese? Really? This appeals at an astounding 0% to my interests. Can't you guys add in some food ads that might appeals to gamers? Maybe CoD flavored Mountain Dew, Dinosaur Chicken Nuggets, Bagel Bites, or even CoD flavored Doritos. If you have a say in the matter, of course.

Is there even that much to pimp in the mountains? I'd think that be a pretty dry industry up there.

Sounds like Little Nightmares is a better scary game than Outlast 2, because if a room full of shoes gets to you more than dead children you know you're doing something right.

Outlast 2 IS NOT Outlast Nick, do not shame Outlast like that, man. Outlast is a hiding simulator, Outlast 2 is a running simulator. Outlast has a good mysterious ending, Outlast 2 has a DLC ending. Outlast has interesting characters among crazies, Outlast 2 has crazy religious people among crazy religious people.

Nick, Far Cry is actually really good game on PC. Structurally it's different from the later ones, but the levels are large enough that you still have a lot of freedom in how you approach them. Just be warned that it's quite a difficult game, and there's also an AI bug on the latest Steam version (which can be fixed).

Also, I started watching Buffy. In part because of you, but mostly because of Sarah Michelle Gellar. Just finished S3. You were right that it gets a lot better in S2. Spike was great. I'm wondering though: 1) does Willow's hair get shorter every season? 2) is Buffy an emotional wreck at the start of every new season? :P

Hey guys, I've been interested in 'Little Nightmares' for quite some time and hearing your positive impressions of the game has certainly made me add it to my (already far too long) must play games of 2017 list, so thank you very much for that.

Nick, are you sure you didn't mean 'Nightmare before Christmas' when it comes to what the game reminds you of thematically? Regardless, I think there's no doubt that 'Little Nightmares' is very much influenced by Tim Burton's obscure, Gothic horror which I think many of us have had an unsettling fascination with since our younger days.

P.S. Why the sudden shade throwing at Dende from Ya'll? He can heal people with his magic hands. Leave Dende alone!!! Great podcast, keep it up.

I'm not sure how i feel about the prospect of playing darksiders 3. You guys don't sound so hot on it either. I played trough 1 and 2, and they were fine. The first one was a box of broken toys thrown at a wall. The second one devolved into long chains of fetch quests. Which i hope they will try to avoid.

I got maybe a 3rd of the way through the first Darksiders before stopping. It certainly borrows elements from other games, which is all well and good, but I wasn't able to stay interested. It feels as though these games lack a significant and original hook (besides the 4 horseman narrative), so I might as well play the games Darksiders borrows from, you know? Kind of a bummer.

something I want to point out about fury's design in darksiders 3 is that there is a darksiders comic that has fury in it and her design in that makes this one in darksiders 3 look amazing.
