The Nintendo Switch has arrived along with the highly anticipated release of The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild! Between the 4 of us, we deliver DETAILED impressions of the game (covering the first 20-30 hours) across both platforms (Switch and Wii U) for over an hour! In fact, we pushed the Zelda conversation into the 2nd segment just to make sure we still talked about the Hardware itself and Snipperclips! 2017 is ridiculous so far. Make it stop.

Even after hearing you guys and others gushing about zelda breath of the wild. I'm not sure i find the idea of trying it to be compelling.

I have played a few Zelda titles before like twilight princess and a link between worlds, but i didn't particularly enjoy them. On the other hand i have enjoyed titles that wears zelda inspiration on it's slevve. The most noteable example being the magnificent okami.

Kinda glad I decided to wait on getting the switch with all the games that are out right now. But my concern is how well the screen protector will last in the long run, with the heat from the docking, and general usage if you will need to replace screen protector more often than you would with other devices.

one of the major problems I think the wii u version has is the frame rate some people will say that that the games fun factor compensates for this but I don't think this is so. As we saw from brads stream of Zelda the fps gets particularly bad during the gerudo desert divine beast boss fight which as we saw ruins an otherwise dope ass boss fight because your fighting a fast enemy in choppy slow motion. whatever happened to that nintendo polish?

Nick mentioned it, and I have heard other people say this could be their new number one game of all time. However I am a proponent of the two year rule. I think with anything, game, book, or movie, it only qualify after you have gone back to it at least two years later. For a brief time, Alan Wake was my favorite game of all time until the hype wore down and i realized the games on my original list were better.

I totally agree with Nick regarding the JoyCon grip. I was really against getting a Nintendo Switch immediately after launch, but my live in partners ended up buying one anyway. I was completely blown away with how nice it felt to use the grip; I doubt I'll buy a pro controller any time soon.

Don't talk about Mario Odyssey Nolan, you KNOW it going to be Sonic 06', you KNOW!

But weed is a depressant Nolan, thus, Denver should be depressing.

Weapon durability is a shitty mechanic to force people to use other weapons, even Fallout got rid of weapon durability and that shit was an iconic part of the game! What frustrates me is knowing an axe, that is used to cut down bloody trees, disintegrates into dust after a dozen or so hits. Are you telling me everything in this damn world is made of tissue paper!? It's no wonder Hyrule lost the war.
