So, I totally played through Borderlands: the Pre Sequel because I really enjoyed Borderlands 2 (Mechromancer for life). First off, didn't find any of the characters in the Pre Sequel very interesting, both story-wise and mechanic-wise. Second, not the most lighthearted story, two moments in the story stand out as being a bit dark for me, killed the whole, "Haha" mood for me. I guess I should praise the writers because by the end of the game, I totally felt like a scumbag bad guy. Probably talking it up too much, but for me, total mood killer.

On the bright side, nice hearing you guys talking somewhat positively about Inquisition. Another one of the small quirks that gets to me is talking to your companions. Having to initiate conversation with a companion multiple times to talk about different topics just gets to me after a while. Why can't I just say, "I don't have anymore questions about topic X, can I ask about something else?" Still, like the rest of you guys, really enjoying the game. And really, at first I thought Blackwall was a bit boring and straightlaced but after his companion quest, wow. All I'll say. Anyways, keep it up, podcasts give me something to listen to while playing DA:I.

Great podcast as usual but poor poor Chris Thacker, I'm a bit torn on playing Tales from Borderlands since I never really got attached to the characters and story in the original Borderlands despite the vast amount of enjoyable time I had with that game. I played very little of 2 due to Anthony Burch's atrocious writing and terrible characters and not to mention the gameplay was pretty much copied and pasted from 1 (for these reasons I ignored the pre-sequel entirely). On the other hand Telltale has been known to great character driven stories and drama and while I have no love for the universe and lore of Borderlands I know Telltale is a developer that can make something work from that series.
