I enjoyed the first hour or so of Rage but ultimately was dissatisfied with game, If Mad Max is a better more enjoyable version I'm all for it.

Gotta admit Brad's starting to annoy with the desire for this to be Just Cause 3 (that's not to say I don't think it's reasonable, mind you). The fact that there's ANY car combat game that isn't Twisted Metal at E3 is amazing and so unlikely that I feel potential is being ignored. Car combat is a VERY under explored genre and if I'm processing what you guys are saying about the mechanics and balance properly, this could even be innovative. That's saying something for a genre that's be saturated with top-down, uninspired combat racers on fucking IOS for the past few years.
